Big ol’ 100 for my birthday.
Another big problem I see in relationships (remember, I’ve never experienced it) is that promises are seldom kept.  It goes a long with keeping the romance alive.  Try and make a promise to call everyday.  Promise to take your significant other on a fancy date, a “cheap” date, a stay in date, all that!  Make promises and KEEP THEM.  It’ll give that special person a smile on their face and show that you are genuine.

However, another thing is that another reason why things fail is that these big promises are made so early in the relationship.  Like when people are just “talking” they make these loving and cute promises, but they never follow through and the person just ends up getting hurt.  Then it creates a mistrust of future relationships.
So people, please try and keep your promises.  if you know you can’t uphold them, don’t make them!  its one thing that something unavoidable comes up and you can’t get out of it, but make it up to the person. Actively show that you care and are committed.
And ladies and gentlemen, if your significant other doesn’t follow through and keeps making hollow promises, that’s a deal breaker.
