I know I shouldn’t be saying anything, since I’ve never had a girlfriend, but this very good point was brought by my friend Myriam.  
Relationships are always hard, and long distance ones are even harder.  You don’t get to see the person. They can’t be there for you to hug when you’re lonely, they can’t be there to kiss, or to have sex when you’re horny.  But a relationship isn’t always about the physical stuff; sometimes just the talking and messages are just as good.  
This goes just as much for you tumblr people.  I know you guys have tumblr girlfriends and boyfriends, or you tend to fall for people on tumblr.  We also live in an age of negativity.  People are drawn away from entering a long distance relationship.  
Try and look on the positives. I know that its harder than it sounds, but just try.  Don’t give up simply because you can’t see them!  Take solace in the fact that you actually have someone.  Make the effort. Talk ! Call! And be patient.  If they don’t answer, they might be busy! Don’t give up on the relationship simply because its long distance.
